yard house

We likey-likey the yard house. Its so awesome at happy hour. I really want to make this one of our go-to spots. I'm sure Gary won't mind.

I loved the crab cakes and the layered ahi over crispy won-ton (in the middle on the left).

It really doesn't look like much but this was my MOST favorite dish. It's kinda like a spicy tuna roll without the rice... Seared rare ahi, avocado, edamame, cucumber with wasabi soy sauce. Like a 7-layered dip but with SUSHI!

I also loved the spicy thai chix pizza with mozzarella, macadamia nuts, carrots, green onion and cilantro. Mmmmm.

Jong enjoys her fingers too!

After we got happied, we took a walk outside. Which led us to the beach somehow, which was awesome.

My husband turns into something else at sunset.

Us ladies with Diamond Head, I mean, Tiamond Het in the background.

Hmmm... why is the sidewalk is wet, maybe we should run.

Look how happy we are... we are shiny happy wet people.

speaking of Diamond Head... one of these heads are missing.

Here is a short story (see pic):
Helen saw a shiny button...
Helen pushed the shiny button...
Helen got aw wet...
Moral of the story; Never push a button you don't know... haaaaaaay are you two showering together...

this is how the ancient Hawaiians came to the islands, now its a tourist attraction.

Damien and Gary try hard not to think of anything for this picture. But they end up sticking their hands in their pockets and finding out they are broke.

hey kinda looks like Jong.

Whats large, has a triangular fin that sticks out of water, is dangerous, swims fast and likes to creep up to unsuspecting people? ...its not a shark, at least not this time.

check out my supa puka orange t shirt cya

Its official!

Its official! August 1st, 2010 we are officially moved over!

Gary had his first Bible reading in Chuukese tonight, He did soooooo good! I'm not just saying that cuz he's my husband but he did really good. Ofelia said he was perfect and Bethany said it brought tears to her eyes... Marcus' Bible highlights (first time too). Way to go guys! Rrrrrreprrrresent!

I tried to upload a video of his talk (3 min) but it not happening. So I am posting a picture of Gary that young Merlisa drew off him when he was on stage.

Gary's line, "Don't worry its not your dog"

Introducing icky-sticky-smelly kon!
"Kon" is pounded and fermented breadfruit. It is a Chuukese staple. They eat it with everything, its like their rice.
ok true story. I asked if anyone needed a fork. This sis turned around and proudly wiggled her yellow gooey sticky fingers and said, "this is my fork."

Seffrey's action shot and 15 seconds of fame.
game over, the tree won.

Yumi wrote a song for Herm.
Take it away Gary!

SeƱoRITA

Yumi: "Chess lemme holt da kitar" and Ashley

Our goodbye song

and lyrics

And of course we had to end the party with a bang. While Herm was all emotional from the song... Marcus WHAMS her with chocolate cake.

"I thought you said you like pie!"
"Yeah but not in my face!"

'Nating' to be afraid of.

Nating runs after Herm with a tissue... But Herm scream cause all she sees is Nating running towards her. Hilarious.

Thx for the laughs! We miss you. See you soon.
