JAX

One month after Kelly's wedding, we came up for a visit.
Mario said it was good timing too because she was just starting to feel homesick.
Kelly's place
Randal and Debbie Rowe stopped by. They finally got to meet Mario for the first time. They haven't seen Kelly and us since our wedding in 07!
Yummy cake!
The next day we went sight seeing and shopping.

Mario had to work since he took a lot of time off for the wedding & honeymoon. So this was Kelly's first time driving the car around Jax.
See you lator!

Oyster wall. I love this shot.
They burn the oyster shells to make lime. Then they mix the lime with sand and water to make mortar. These oyster walls are everywhere!

KELLY: Anyone who can play this deserves a dollar.

Gotta love Kelly-phrases... "You know people are dorky when dorky people don't wanna hang with them."

"I feel sorry for my fish because I know they're all gonna die... Let's name you, rest-in-peace."

"She's so hot, I wanna hang out with her just to catch the overflow."

The Castillo De San Marcos fort.

Spain built this fort as a defense system in the late 1600's to protect St. Augustine from its many attackers and pirate raids. It was never taken in battle. It has been a national monument since 1926.

JAX brewery represent woot woot!

prohibition stops beer but the factory keeps alive by using the same ingredients for non alcoholic products such as ginger ale.

Gary's plan was to have all of our samples! He figured Kelly doesn't like beer and I'm his wife...

EEEH. Wrong.

The bud factory was well prepared for even the non-drinkers. They had a few sweet malt-like drink that Kelly liked.
The samples were big and each person gets two! Kelly said she'll be back with Mario.

Even though Mario worked each day, we had lunch with him almost everyday. He works 5 minutes away from home and has an hour or so for lunch!
Super Walmart. Take away the background and add coconut trees and you've got a Hawaiian fruit stand!

This was a fun day with my Kindergarten class and playing around with my camera.
