We had a flood in our apartment! Water was nearly flowing from the living room to the patio, raining over the sides to the first floor.
Our cat usually greets us at the door, but this time, she peeked out from the hallway, lifted her paws and shook it one at a time. I tried to console her, but she ran away disappearing into the bedroom.
Talk about CRA-Z, we leave for our trip on Thursday. The flood was on Tuesday. That means we only had 1 day to plan.

| Shy found a new spot to hang |
Initially we thought it was the washing machine which was weird since it was brand new. But it was actually the water heater. Mr. Wilson, our building manager had a new one delivered and installed the very next morning. We also had carpet damage in both bedrooms and the worry of mold.
Much thanks and kudos to Aki who stayed up all night cleaning and bleaching the floors and taking care of things while we were away. And also many Mahalos to Priscella who slept over and kept Aki company that first night. These pictures are from Aki (Thursday, about the same time we were boarding our flight).
