the worse ding

The worst ding I've ever done and its my brother's board. It was only in the water 3x.

It was low tide. I jumped into the water and landed hard on a rock. I still surfed. Not quite knowing the extent of the damage.

Later, I examined the damage. OMG!!! I felt like I hit daddy's car and now I have to tell him...

I called my brother as soon as I got to the car... He just asked how bad. I said bad. Then he offered to pay half for another board. I was more upset than him! Some guys on the beach saw the ding and were like, naw, just pay 25-50 to pop it out and redo it.

THEN, later that week... This happens...

This is actually my board. Its my favorite board. I was looking for any dings or cracks to patch up. And my cat decides to create one. She jumped on it but as she jumped off... well the rest is history. WAAAH.
Not a good week.

panini time

Va-la! Welcome to our home!

Help yourself to some hot pressed melted goodness!

First you need to chose your bread. Try my favorite Japanese square white bread or Boudin's famous sourdough or just do a good old fashion French bread.

Last time we fed the c/o we did a mini taco bar. This time we didn't know what to do. So we decided to do a panini bar since we had a lot of meat in the freezer, incl smoked meat from the Big island.

We invited all those who were out that day.

we had some paninis already made for the mamas, and for the adventurous ones we had a line up of choices such as meatball marinara, grilled sausages, fried smoked pipikaula with onions, ham, spinach and different varieties of cheese.

hold the press!

Since our whole field service group was there, the c/o conducted the afternoon group in our house. It was an awesome privilege.

Jamie from Lanai, who stayed with us for the week.

Next time lets try a sushi bar!

Skies the limit!!!

hai, ja ne. Mata tabemasho!!!

Kellys shower

For Kelly's shower I made a homemade card that reminded me of her.

Bring in a picture and write a memory of her on it!

Surprise! We're in the kitchen!!!

KELLY: "Look Babe."

The photo book I made when Mario surfed with us.

Memory magnets!!! What a clever little game! Each magnet represents a funny story Kelly shared with many of us. The game is to guess the story of your magnet or pay the penalty by telling your joke.
