New Service Year

Congrats on making our time!
NOTE: The camera dates are Japanese; first is the day, then the month, then the year... No 4get, today is September!

On Friday, we had our RP meeting at the assembly hall.
On the way home, it poured!
And POURED!!!
We went to a new Portuguese/Brazilian restaurant downtown.

Marcus included his gf in his picture.

Gary ordered the Carne de Porco Adega. Its a traditional Portuguese dish from the Alentejo region. Its pork and clams with fried potatoes, topped with cilantro. Da bomb!
Aki and I shared a Peito De Frango Adega which is a chiken, shrimp and mushroom dish. Plus! we shared a baked dish of seafood, wine and bread, topped with an egg yolk called, Acorda De Marisco.
After we left the restaurant, the owner chased us down. He took us to a side door and offered us just-made malasadas. He gave us several more to share with our friends too.
This is the owner.
Then on Saturday night, Jeffrey and Marcus came over. My totally burned garlic bread!
Marcus and Jeffrey making fun.
On Sunday, we met for field.
The view from our territory.

Our afternoon group.

We took a break at my house. Niwine fixed my sewing machine and Marcus learned how to sew!
Akiʻs car group did beach witnessing... I think. LOL!
Ewa Beach

On Monday, it rained hard on the North shore.

We wanted to swim in the waterfall but they said no swimming today.
But we saw a whole family of peacocks.
Even the daddy was on the roof.
